Toys for Tots run and Cruise the Gut on Sat. Sept 20th
Hey everyone here is an event that the Marines in Charlotte are putting on. They want us to cruise from Charlotte to Mason to Lansing back to Charlotte with a group of motorcycles and police escort. A toy donation will be required, there will be 50/50 drawings, and much more! I will post more details later today.
Then afterwards, we can attend the last Cruise the Gut in downtown Lansing which goes on from 3-10pm. It will be for a good cause then afterwards we all can enjoy the Cruise.

I guess that is what the next decision will be. A chance to have fun locally, donate towards a worthy cause, and cruise/car show OR go to Cedar Point and enjoy the rides. I personally feel keeping things a bit more local will help my wallet.

The GUT will be GREAT for bringing in new members and bringing back old members that a run into every Saturday night
If you don't want to bring a toy you can also make a $10 donation.which every you feel.
This is a AWESOME way for the MI Wildhorses to give back to our community.

Re: Past Event: Toys for Tots run and Cruise the Gut on Sat. Sept 20th
Hi everyone. We are doing 2 events on this day. Toys for Tots Run and Cruise the Gut. Information below.
Jessica and I need to know if members are doing both or just one of the events. So please let us know on or before the Frontier day parade if possible so we can plan parking.
===================================================================
If anyone is doing just Cruise the Gut we can use there help. Craig Parrish the Show Director for Cruise the Gut said parking is first come first serve and we will need to have someone or more be at the cruise site 1hr before the start of the cruise (2:pm The cruise is 3pm to 10pm)to save spaces with chairs or cones for our members to park together.
Here is the Scoop from Pat one of the coordinators for the Toys for Tots run.
The will be an all you can eat breakfast at the Charlotte VFW ( they thought the cost was $6.00) 8:30 to 11:00
We need to be at the Charlotte VFW by 11:00 am to register. The donation is 10.00 per car and 5.00 per passenger. so for me and Sandy it will be 15.00 or 15 dollar new unwraped toy. We will leave the Charlotte VFW at 12:00 sharp as we will have a police escort. We will cruise 50 MPH and the escort will block all roads so we do not have to stop at all between stops. The stop will be the Grand Ledge American Legion, Grand Ledge National Guard Armory, 2 VFW post in lansing and 1 in Holt.
If you need other information please post them here.
We will discuss other details after the parade on the 6th.

Re: Past Event: Toys for Tots run and Cruise the Gut on Sat. Sept 20th
Is anyone going to make the early time to save us parking at Cruise the Gut starts at 3pm promoter said to be sure of spaces someone should be there by 2. Looks like we should save 8 spots. Dan did you say by the old bus station is a good place. If not let us know where you think we should save spaces.
