Past Event: Michigan Military Families Benefit 6/26/10
Hey everyone! Here is the plan for the next event on Saturday, June 26th, the motorcycle and car show at Full Throttle Motorsports in Lansing, put on by Michigan Military Families Benefits and Operation Homefront (helping families of deployed soldiers). I know this comes late and is a change from the original event that was planned (the coastline cruise and meet w/Michigan Mustangs), but it is a worthy event and cause for us to attend or even help with. I attended a meeting with the shows organizers and they may need some help putting on the show. There are going to be multiple 50/50 drawings, live entertainment, food/bar area, a raffle for a Polaris Ranger, a 90 mile sheriff escorted cruise from 11am 'til 1pm, and much more.
Is there anyone willing to help the organizers out with the event (our cars can still be in the show). I need to know ASAP so to let the organizers know how many can help. Regardless if we help or not, we can still be in the show/cruise. I just think our group can really do some good to help families of those who serve our country.
This show was in St. Johns last year that a few of us attended, here are the pics from '09--------> MMFB show 2009
Here is a link to the show's website with more info------->3rd Annual Michigan Military Families Benefit
Registration is from 7:30-9:30am $10 to register

10am-----show begins
10:50am-----1st raffle drawing
11am-----benefit ride begins
11:30-----food/drink sale begin
12pm-----1st band begins
1-1:30pm------benefit ride returns
1:45pm-----2nd 50/50raffle sales begin
3pm-----Drawing for 2nd raffle, 2nd band begins
4pm-----Announce top 5 winners of car show, headliner band begins
4:30pm-----begin selling final 50/50 raffle tickets
6:00pm-----drawing for last 50/50
6:30pm-----drawing for Polaris Ranger
I will post later for where they will be needing our help, for those who want to. What do you say Wildhorses? Who's on board?

Anyone else? Please let me know asap, gotta call the organizer with #'s. This has potential to be a real good, local event for promoting our group while helping others with such great cause. Let's show them how much we appreciate what their family members do for us!
