Past Event: Frontier Days Parade, Sept. 6th

It's parade time soon! We haven't done this parade in a couple years and I think it is time we come back! Let's gauge the interest here to see what kind of attendance we will have! Any takers?

Sounds great Randy, I'll get with you on what the plans end up being. Are the 'Cruisers gonna be in this?

Not sure at this time as I have been out of town.

Need to know WildHorses. Have to turn in parade registration by Monday if we want to do this.

Dan this is not on the calender of events for the Charlotte Cruiser. Its because we have our car show on Thursday of that week downtown Charlotte.

Sorry guys, my cars dont like parades. The Cobra's clutch is the heaviest thing I have ever driven. A parade would not be fun. However, I was going to be on the sidelines cheering you on! What did you finally decide?

We will be at the Cruiser line up downtown (weather permitting). Hope to see some of you there.

I live in Holt, I am volunteering my house for a BBQ I have two very large grills and lots and lots of room to play !!! and if people want to stick around we can have a bonfire.

Here is my .02 on having a BBQ at peoples house. Yes it's a nice jesture but other things to consider
If we have it at a Park we park all of our cars in a line make it look really cool and a Non Member Mustang owner drives by the park and sees all the cars and stops in to check things out because it's a public place, we talk to him and they decide to hang out and join the club.
But if we have it a someone’s house the same Non Member drives by sees all the cool cars and keeps going because no one wants to just walk up to someone’s house and say "what’s up with all the cars" but at a park it's OK to do that
