Supercharged Saleen motor

I might be putting up the engine out of my Saleen for sale with 20,200 miles.
Mods include:
Accufab TB
Chicane blower pully
Chicane intercooler

I only run Full Synthetic oil and Torco with every tank.

Never raced so I would have no idea what the car would do and just had the mods put on less than a 1000 miles ago.

Dyno numbers with a hot day and bad gas are as follows:
The final numbers turned out to be:
327.30 RWHP at 352.83 Max Torque.
A rough estimate is a 20% loss at the driver train so the engine HP is 393.

Looking to get $4,000 what do you think?

That would definitely be a fun motor for the gt but I think I would rather have the forged 5.0 stroker.

this one is already supercharged!

True but the supercharger isn't very efficient. With the right heads and cams the 5.0 stroker kit would make similar horsepower.

Zak must have been reading my mind.

However, I'm am looking at this as an option.

The guy even made it a better deal by including the saleen tranny in on the deal.

I still say stick with the original plans of a forged 5.0 stroker. Even though it isn't a bad deal all your paying for is a otherwise stock gt motor with a blower on it, a fairly lousy blower at that.

Alright I came across a real good blower motor. Built cobra motor with whipple. A little more expensive than the saleen motor though.

i think the choice should be the cobra engine that would be an amazing swap in tyaras car

No just trying to give you all kinds of options. Although now I changed my mind, don't get her that motor. I would be jealous.

i dont know if i would wanna tackle the 04 swap just because of all the wiring involved.,... a blown new edge 5.0 still sounds badass

this is the original engine from my car which i bought new. it ran perfectly when pulled to install the BB/stroker. the engine is complete with the oil pan, front timing cover, crank damper, flywheel, and valve covers none of which have ever been removed. there is no intake manifold included. the car is a 5-sp. so it has the good crankshaft.

again, there were zero problems with this stock engine and was plenty strong having gone 12.40s with not much more than 4.30s, slicks, and a crappy mail order tune.


asking price is $2200 and i will throw in a QA1 tubular k-member.

i am located just west of cleveland ohio. buyer must pick up at my location or supply a purpose built crate for shipping.

Already saw it...I'm looking at this as another option.

they lighten up the front suspension and are very strong they help a lot from what i have been told

thats also a 4v so it's got 40 more horse and a tune can wake them up big time

It's a 4v engine that was rated at 305hp and yours I believe was rated at 260hp. Plus the 4.30 gears and slicks are what really made it possible, great for the track but crappy for the street.
