New To WildHorses
Hello, My name is Jason Egan. I am retired from the Army and live in Charlotte. I own a 2008 Shelby GT500 Convertible with ambient lighting, Shelby light bar and HID lights. Triple Black #574 of 682 built. Signed Shelby Dash Plaque, OEM leather Shelby GT500 embroidered headrest. Shelby GT500 door sills with VIN, production numbers and ambient lighting. Shelby GT500 Snake emblem wings. I have kept it under 12,000 miles so far and its at the dealership having the Fly wheel and clutch replaced according to Ford TSB for free (I am beyond 3 year warranty, but they cut me some slack being under 12,000 miles). I have a Shelby stag 2+ on the shelf when this new factory clutch goes. Had them throw on the Shelby short throw shifter while they had the tranny out.
Upgrades / mods include Ford Performance Parts M-9603-SVT07 113MM Cold Air Intake, 65MM Cobra Jet throttle body, M-5230-SGT Ford Racing Performance Exhaust, 3.73 gear (Going back to stock 3.55), Push Button Start and Ford Racing Strut Brace.
Shelby Parts: Shelby Short Throw Shifter, Shelby 40th anniversary mesh hood heat extractors, Shelby billet engine caps, Shelby front brake cooling kit (not installed yet).
Wish List - FRPP 650HP Super Charger, Shelby Intercooler, Radiator and Aluminum Resevoir tanks. A supersnake hood and wheels would be nice too. I'm also looking for a local "Tuner". May need to tweak the 65MM throttle body air to fuel setting due to stock super charger.

Thanks for the heads up on tuner in Jackson. I'll post some pictures when the snake returns from dealership. Anyone else using the 65MM Cobra Jet throttle body with stock supercharger?

Re: New To WildHorses
welcome
Paul is a good tuner, I personally have had my mustangs tuned by Lidio at alternative performance on the east side of the state. as far as your future mods I would get the Killer Chiller...to keep from having timing pulled when your IAT2's get up there about 130* with the stock intercooler system. On mine I never see IAT2's above 100* on WOT run 1st thru 4th. It is pretty much like driving in the fall all year long.
coming soon..............................Shelby VS Terminator
