let me know what you think of the new setup, it looks killer in person and a buddy of mine will be tig'ing everthing! tomorrow ill finish the driverside crossover and go to get it tig'd

still need to:

Tig the new vbands fully on the manifolds
figure out a location for the wastgate
weld passenger 02 bung
downpipe needs completed

we got the rest of the hotside done today!

So are you redoing all the piping, bigger trim turbo? New guy here trying to figure it out..LoL

without friends this build would have stopped years ago! I am relocating the turbo from the driver side to the passenger side to clear up some space in the engine bay. I think everything will flow really well. I removed the AC and power-steering so i have some space to fill lol

Ahhh makes sense now. All that emptiness on the PS.. Well I hope to make "friends" here! Id drive back to TN, IN or SC to get some help!! LoL

wastegate done still need to get an o2 sensor and finish welding the manifolds

Dang....where were you wgen i need my piping done!?(on my import) LoL. other than relocating it is there any other purpose? Future plans doin it?

wastegate location should be better here as i had 2 experiences with boost spike, though fun seeing 25psi id like to keep it no more than 20lbs! will be able to change my oil without fighting the oil drain line and be able to run a windstar intake in the future if i re-route the piping

If I ever need welding, turbo or work done, i know where to go..LoL

i take no responsibility for the TIG welding lol my buddy knocked this out for me he does really great work

Downpipe on its way to be done !

downpipe all tacked tonight and removed from the car, ill mig it up tomorrow and get a pic on here.

*** next is to disassymble and get quotes for ceramic coating then install for the last time.

*** install turbo and modify the -8 oil drain stainless steel AN line/ run the oil feed line.

*** redo the compressor side tube to the front mount intercooler cause of the location change of the turbo

should be speaking with Rick at amazon tuning regarding the fuel system to see if the returnless will stay in

manifolds are bolted back to the heads, moved the oil drain and finished the oil feed.

need to get new bolts for the turbo and i will install today. figure where i need to cut the oil drain down and attach the AN fitting back on.

need to get some kind of intercooler piping and will be starting the car today i hope

fuel adapter came in, i ran to earls to get a 60 degree -8 fitting but it looks so much better than the mess before (i did it temporarily to make sure the car ran with the GT40 pumps)









aeromotive fuel filter installed and turbo bolted up. im gonna grind and paint all the mild steel pipes and put off starting the car till tomorrow
