Dang Garrett, that just plain sucks! I assume everyone is OK, that is the most important part. What are your plans for what is left of it? Is there anything to salvage? This was such a sweet 'stang, can't believe this happened to ya.

Ya I was the only one in the car. Just some glass cuts. The insurance company totaled it and managed to give me enough to buy it back plus buy a 2000 gt that's forged with stage 3 patriot heads and stage 3 comp blower cams with a vortec that dynoed at 525. My car is at the shop being straightened right now. If he can get it square again I will fix it. If now I will part it out. Shame tho just rolled 88k and everything is new on it.

Sounds like a very bad situation is working out for you. Glad to hear it. It doesn't always work like that. Good luck!

I got my first Mustang last week when I was rear ended. Insurance totaled my car so, check in hand I went car shopping. Got a great deal on an '04 coupe. A silver lining in a dark cloud, you might say. Hope it works out all right for you. My best advice for anyone settling with an insurance company, Don't take the first offer. Use the phrase "replacement value" instead of Blue Book or retail value. Remember that insurance agent wants to close the claim quickly. Be fair but be firm. Good luck
