Havin idle problems Empty Havin idle problems

Post by KenScrib Thu Sep 22, 2011 11:35 am

The car was idling rough so i replaced the IAC. MAF is clean but the gasket from the throttle body to the intake fell apart. I have ordered a new one. The car still idles funny could it be because of the gasket. I will put the new one on when i get it. Should i replace the TPS. Also when I shift the RPMS dont come down the kinda stay at whatever RPM I shifted at. I am pulling my hair out right now trying to figure this out. HELP 3gears

Mine does the same thing during shifting and started as soon as I put the tune in mine. I don't have any advice but when you figure it out let me know so I can fix mine!

Been having the same issue. Today was especially bad. I haven't been able to investigate it too much, but I have been told it's related to the condition of the throw out barring of the clutch. It doesn't make much sense to me.

That makes perfect sense to me because mine is squeaking and needs to be replaced! I had to buy new kitchen appliances or it would already be done. Happy wife happy life right! Anyway maybe we can plan a clutch/bearing install soon! That is, of course, if the rain ever stops!
