Interested in a track meet?

Hey guys and gals. I was just wondering who would be interested in having a meet over at Darlington drag way. I know some of you dont race but thats ok. It is still a good time out there and you can cheer on those of us who do race. I guess this is up for a vote to see if any one would like to make this happen. Since we usually meet up on Saturday nights, we can go to a Saturday night Test and Tune. The dates for these would be: 9/17, 10/1, 10/8, 10/22, 11/5, 12/3. To race you would need to wear long pants, a helmet and $20. If you dont have a helmet, you can rent one at the drag strip for $5. If you will not be racing, it would be $10, $3 for females(lucky) and kids under 12 are free. Here is the link to the drag strips web site http://www.darlingtondragway.com/

I go to Wednesday nights and Saturday nights Test and Tunes often so if anyone would like to join me or just come and watch, let me know. This doesnt have to be a group event but would be nice it it turned out that way. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

ok, We usually take our white Lx. I had my blue out there during mustang week.

What times are you running with the the Lx and '11 5.0? I wish I could have gone during Mustang Week but work got in the way.

Lx-still is a speed density car, the best time without nitrous is 12.9@103mph thru quarter
with nitrous a secret. (lol)
2011-with 3,000 miles and 331 gear it ran 13.10@110mph thru quarter.

Two weeks ago the ford dealer had to reprogrammed the computer because of it
throwing a code. The throttle response is awesome now and feels alot faster. We see later when it gets cooler and if it will hook up.

those are great numbers out of both. Are the both manuals?

we are planning on being there wednesday. i get off work at 6 and have to drive from columbia so will be there abt 730 8 and he went on duty this week so has to report every day but hopefully will get released at a decent time. ive been to a few, planning on making much more in the future! as long as the pos will stay out of the shop lol

and wanted to meet up with his old friends for dinner. Maybe we could
meet up one sat. for test & tune. Been wanting to take our lx back out.

ive ran it twice, once at jackson which is the track i used to frequent, and once at darlington. car had less issues at jackson lol. havent ran it since i got rid of the skinnies, got 315s and 4.10. and my tach doesnt work which is frustatring
