August Meeting
It's that time again gang! Our August meeting will be as follows:
Meet at Fatboys (I will be there by 4, Chip usually gets there earlier) We'll have cones out to save spots for CONFIRMED ATTENDEES ONLY. We put a lot of cones out last month and didn't use all of the spots by half.
We will leave Fatboys by 6:30 to cruise over to Carolina Wings SAFELY!
When we arrive at Carolina Wings we'll park as usual, take pictures of the cars and the crew then we'll go inside, place food and drink orders and talk about up coming events. So if you have something that you would like to do, bring it to the table with a plan of getting it accomplished and we'll make it happen. I would like to get a picture of all of the cars and crew together at this meeting so I need everyone to try to attend. This will go on our SC Homepage and will be a panoramic shot so if you would like to order one, let me know. I'm not sure of the price yet but I'll check and get with you if you let me know you want one.
We are also talking about a cruise to the coast again. We've talked about this in the past and the summer is almost over so sometime soon we need to make this happen. We have quite a few members down that way that would appreciate us coming to them and it would be a good time. We'll talk about this more at the meeting so be thinking of ideas. I know there is a water park in Charleston that we could go to and it would entertain all for the day, just throwing that out there. These are the ideas that David and I are looking for. Be creative! We'll set a date at the meeting on 8/13 for a few weeks out. I'm really excited at how quickly our group is growing, we owe a great deal of thanks to Chip for all of the recruiting that he's done. I'm excited to see us be the largest group at Fatboys in August!
I'm getting married this weekend and will be at the beach all next week so if any of my Wildhorses family is in the area please call me and come by. We'd love to see you. 803-629-8120

That was probably directed at Craig and Michael. I personally plan to limit myself to going no faster than the car ahead of me. I was behind Colleen last time (until she got tired of being behind LJ in his Shelby).

I think that as long as Stacy isn't behind the wheel of any of the cars we'll follow the "don't start none, wont be none" mentality! I think that we're going to have a good turnout and I haven't washed my car in three weeks so I'm beginning to have withdrawls!

Re: August Meeting
David, I believe your car was the last one that I detailed and the poor thing probably hasn't been washed since! Yes I will be washing my car but only after I finish the strobe install this Saturday. Anyone up for assisting? Jon, I can't wait to hear what she sounds like now! Make sure you clean it up good, you see, David is a firm believer in the 20/20 theory. Which is a car 20 feet away moving at 20 mph that doesn't look dirty doesn't need to be washed! I'm just kidding Ridge! It's been too long, I can't wait to see the group again.

Re: August Meeting
Wow! That's a little messed up Richard. Lol! Mallory got hand washed, waxed, and detAiled at the beach...the day of your wedding! Lol. Couldn't have her looking like last weeks old laundry at the beach. Lol. And the 20/20 theory works! Hell, if scratches don't show up in high resolution pictures taken close up, a little dirt won't show from 20ft away! Lol
