Years ago when my girls were little,, I stood in line outside Toys 'R us (4-EVER), then fought my way though the store, then stood in line again to check out, (got some good deals), BUT, the main reason for that stop was an
E-Z bake oven,,,bought other things too,,, but we save a whopping $5 on the E-Z bake oven,,, scratch banghead
I guess if you're shopping for large items, maybe a good thing??? (I'm POOR)...
But for me,,, NEVER AGAIN!!! mad

I am with you Glenn, no more black Fridays for me. LOL. Even if the deals are good, its just way too wild for this old man. LOL

As for what am I doing. Well I retired from my job with the State as of yesterday. I am going to work more for Rick Anthony's delivering flowers and closing books three days a week, but the stress will be gone. Looking forward to it. Smile

I stay away from Black Friday's also. It's just not worth it for me. With the internet being the way it is you can always find some kind of deal on what ever you are looking for.

Wow, retirement at 49. You are a lucky man. Enjoy.

Anyone have pictures of their cars put up for the winter? I have mine on jackstands, covered with blankets, and surrounded inside and out with dryer sheets to keep the mice out. Looks like a big baby all tucked in for a cold night.

If I can scrape some money together I'm really hoping to buy smoked HID headlamps from Americam Muscle this winter. Would like to buy the correct taillamps smoked too but that is a little bit expensive. Looking at 1 inch rear wheel spacers, but If I do that I would really like to find the correct year GT wheels and paint them black before changing them over.

Hey Brad can I borrow some from you?? 80 hours a week...Damn!!

The T-Bird is stored similarly at the Charlotte fairgrounds with the trailer. Hopefully, if we can sell the Wagon next year, the T-Bird will be stored at home.

Thanks guys. So far, so good. Spring will be much more enjoyable.

Mine is in the garage. No cover on it yet, I don't know if it will fit this year with the new wing. It is kinda hard to get good pics, with my boat, Samurai, Mustang and my two bikes all tucked in a two car garage. omgno

Do the dryer sheets really work? I have been using Irish Spring bar soap in the trunk, inside, under the hood and under the car on the floor and it seems to work. I just think it might be cheaper to buy a box of dryer sheets than 6 bars of soap.

I have never had a car nice enough to store before. The dryer sheets are new to me. A guy I work with swears by them. One big advantage is the inside of the car smells great. Fresh laundry MMMMMMMM!
So far no mice. I'll post a pic of mine when I can.

The soap smells good too, and seems to work. I haven't seen any mice and I have been storing my car the same way since I bought it. I have been told to use moth balls, But I have a hard time seeing them to get any! lol!
