Gingerman has added Tuesdays to it's Test & Tune Schedule.
Also, for 40 extra dollars ($100 total) an instructor will be available for beginners.
I contacted the raceway. They said that if you pre-register for an instructor, that removes the requirement for prior track experience.
So now any newbie that wants to get on a road track can get started for $100 and the cost of an approved helmet.

Sounds interesting.

Do they require a roll bar for convertibles?

And is the approved helmet a SA200(+)?

Helmets must be SA2000 or newer and Gingerman requires that roll protection be in place for convertibles. I dont know what that means.
Here is the link to their Test & Tune rules webpage:

I was thinking of running out there the 24th or 26th of this month. If anyone is interested in either of those dates let me know. I will let CAM know too, but they just got back from mid-ohio and are focused on their car show on the 29th. Might be hard to pull some of them away from the carnauba the week before a big show.
