Event calendar change........
OK gang, there is actually not going to be a parade in Battle Creek this year for the 4th of July celebration, so we will have to make a change in our calendar there. The Battle Creek chamber of commerce actually told me to check out the parade going on in Marshall on July 3rd. I called Marshall only to find out that it is just a children's parade (no cars). So.....a parade that day seems to be out if the question (since downtown Eaton Rapids is still all tore up with construction through the summer), unless we come up with a last minute parade somewhere else
Scott has already invited the group to come up to Firestone in Lansing for a cookout and fireworks on the 3rd.
I know Cruise the Fountain is going on July 2-3 in Marshall (we could cruise the fountain then head up to Scott's work if that would work for everyone?). I'm working until 5pm that day so I will be up for anything after that.
If anything, just meeting up in Lansing will work for me.........

What's wrong with a children's parade? Kids love Mustangs.
Besides, my wife always accuses me of being a 12 year old.

Someone will have to head up that cause because I'll be at work and Tim will be busy with his yearly 4th plans. That's kinda why the evening plans seem to work out well.Blitz wrote:dan why not just enter the mason parade? its not that far for anybody to go to and its a decent parade.
