Indy HP Event Highlights
Just a little heads up, the guys are on there way home and are running on zero sleep
A big thanks to all the guys that came out and helped AJ with the L. This was quite a job, they started at 9:30 and didn't get done till around 4:30 in the morning and then turned around and left for HP. As most of you know AJ was pulling a few codes after last weeks drag strip run, after reviewing what the codes meant, they did a complete inner cooler cleaning, changed the plugs and changed the o2's.
Congrats AJ for the new record time: 13.86 and no codes to speak off! :*woohoo*:

Re: Indy HP Event Highlights
it was alright....i only got in 5 pass's. The way they did the elinations made absoulty no sense. On of AJ"s buddies with a lightning did a 13.14 and Eric did a 13.18 and eric got in but not the him.
11.9's were racing low 13 cars. didn't make much sense but o well
Then when asked how they did it, they replied. We forget

Ya thats pretty solid. I'm guessing he had some drag radials and a lower pulley. Those are probably two of the quickest ways to get the times down for the lightnings.

How's the tranny coming along? Are you still running the stock clutch and flywheel?

its a B***H! The insurance guy for the warrenty company is going there tomorrow. Then he'll tell them exactly how much the warrenty company will cover. Man i'm angry!
Yeah, still stock clutch and fly... the clutch is still original but i only have 19,500 on the car... it still has 70% left (cuz i never feather).
I probably should gotten a lightweight fly since they're putting it in, but o well. I'll blow it again, i'm positive. As long as theres a t3650, there will be one to blow. haha

:*agree*:
I feather my clutch when i launch. i'm prolly going to upgrade to a stage 2 or 3 and a flywheel when i blow this one out.

Re: Indy HP Event Highlights
Thanks everyone for helping a brother out in time of need! This is what I brag about as being our selling point of the club.
BROTHERHOOD (and for the ladies SISTERHOOD)!!!!
I was grinning ear to ear the entire way home cuz I hit a 13.86, well almost the entire way. I was nodding by the time I hit the 71st exit off of the 65
Now its time for more :*burnout*:
