Re: how is everyone doing?
I was just about to post the same thing. How is everyone doing? I talked to Meagan (Larry's wife) earlier today and their home/family is safe, but haven't heard from anyone else.
The ditch in my back yard flooded a bit more than normal, but thankfully we didn't suffer any damage and all is well here in my neck of the woods. It did get to the shed, but as far as I know it's still OK.
The water on the back side of the shed was roughly 3-4' deep, it typically only manages about 6-12" so it was probably 3-4 times higher than I've ever seen it.

I have never felt so sick about something in my life... I can't even imagine..
This is my buddies '03 Cobra.. We were in the middle of replacing all of the rear end bushings with the "Full tilt boogie" setup and several other things.. This is how she sits now.

I don't know what to even say at this point....
I'm sure all of you know what/where this is, but. Beech Bend raceway in Bowling Green, KY.
For those of you who don't know what this is. This is the welcome sign/crossove bridge that you go under to get to the drag strip.
This has to be a minimum of 20' of water.

Beech bend is destroyed! Thanks for posting those pics Evan. I was thinkin about taking my Family that's comin down from MI to Beech Bend but I guess that a lost cause. Also for those of you that haven't heard or seen the news around Nashville, The Grand ol' Opry/ Country music hall of Fame is under 5 feet of water as well as the Opry Mills hotel and the Opry Mills Mall. According to the News here in town the water has begun to recede and the Bus route are gonna resume their normal routes which I guess is good news

The water has definitely started to recede. We are planning on starting the cleanup at Josh's house tomorrow if the roads are clear enough. The water in his neighborhood went from about 6-7' down all the way to 1.5' or less in the streets today.

It is the craziest thing that I have ever seen. There has just never been anything like it in the history of TN/KY.

Re: how is everyone doing?
I'll take SoCal Earthquakes or Michigan Unemployment any day of the week over that. I'm sorry bud.
Holy High water Batman!!! and I don't mean pants.
Was a pretty good storm by the looks of the pic's.
Were all high and dry here in Vine Grove Ky. Lewisville (my spell LOL) was hit in a few areas.
On the plus side weather was excellent yesterday. have my car all cleaned up and ready to see the UPS truck pull in the driveway this Friday with my new 18" wheels and tires.
Wife bought them for me. tried talking her out of them and that there were some other stuff I could get for the car.
Guess I'll get the other stuff after car is paid off. Which I can do at anytime.

Re: how is everyone doing?
I hope they get Beach Bend cleaned up! It has been a great place. I have camped at the campground and attended a lot of events, even taken the kids to the amusement park!
And I hope your buddy has insurance to save that Cobra! and his garage/house.
