Ok What the Deuce? Empty Ok What the Deuce?

Ok so I'm on my way back from lunch today and pull up to the light and molly shuts off. I start her back up and off she goes again. Now my autometer tach is going nuts, 0-10 g's and back so i turn the key off and let it sit for a couple of seconds, start her back up and the lights change. I get to second, and she jumps like the fuel just quit or theres water in my system or something, cuts off and i pop the clutch and get her started... after that she ran fine. i did notice her surging a bit from about 750-1000 g's and my oil pressure at idle is about 25-30 but jumps up to about 50 when i hit the gas. Well yesterday I decided to fill up on 89 instead of 93. anybody know why the tach did that or why she jumped like that?? Suspect

Haven't had this issue with a Mustang before, but one of my Jeeps. Start the car up and see it the idle jumps up and down, like right as it's about to cut off, the idle kicks back up by itself. Don't give it gas or anything. Chances are that your Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is bad, giving a improper signal to the ECU, causing it not to know where to idle. The car will run with your foot on the gas, but die otherwise, cause it can't regulate fuel pressure, air flow, etc without knowing clock of the throttle body. Now, if your car is not drive by wire and you actually have a throttle cable going to the throttle body, well what I just said it completely wrong and I can't help you lol. Hope you find the cure!
