having a little trouble

I am trying to get a benefit together from Robert's Aunt Tina. Her husband hasn't been able to work since January because he has been really sick. She went to the doctor about a week and half ago and found that she had stomach cance. Now she can't work she just came home from her surgery lastnight. I want to try and get this together for her. I have evrything except a place. No one has called me back or I have just gotten no right up front. I have tried everywhere I could think of. now I have a call in at place we had the last benefit. If we get that it will be okay. I would like to hear any opinions that you all have or if know of a really good spot. Thanks very much. Crystal

ok i called advanced auto in denham the manager said this should not be a problem im waiting for a call back after he speaks with is district manager...i can also call innovative audio i got a friend that works their but there parking is small.. we could also contact genisis car audio since they do our stickers! let me know what you think

advance would be better than james's because to do it there we have to wait until that Farmer's markt thing is over.Innovative does have a tiny parking area but so does advance they have that auto haus shop in the same lot as them. I like the idea though. I am by no means shooting it down, if that is the way it comes off sorry. We will see what we have to work with. I thought about genesis too. I just don't know if it is kindda off the beaten path. If it would be to hard for out of towners to find. Let me or Mrs. Glenda know for sure about advance as soon as youhear something back. So far I have some one to cook the jambayla, tables, chairs, a tent. I have not arranged for a dj because I do not want to spend a lot of money on little stuff like that. Plus, Robert's Aunt TIna goes to church at FAC which will be helping out with stuff that is where I am gettting the tables and chairs. I don't want to have like hard rock or rap going and have her church members there. I have someone coming up with some flyers to choose from. We are just waiting to get the place and time. Plus, I am going to try and pre-sell jambayla tickets. Let them come by and pick it up. Most of the time that goes pretty well. I need to see about some ice chest if any one can help with that. I want to sell can drinks for $.50 but I need a place to keep them cool. Also bottles of water. if anyone would like to make a few cookies and wrap them 2 to a pack we are going to sell them for $.50. Thanks Mitch for helping me out today but Winndixie in Walker called me back We can have the front of the parking lot which is a huge area. We are going to do it for June 12th instead of the 19th because the 19th was taken. Thank you all for your suuport and efforts. I will hopefully have flyers printed out for you all to help hand out. plus we are going to try and pre-sell some dinner tickets. I am super excited. Thanks. I mean it really excited.

We have 2 coolers, possibly 3 (100 gallon if it will hold ice) that you are more than welcome to use. We also have an LSU tent you can use..its a 10x10 I believe. As far as cookies, I could make a few batches for you. Of course it will be pillsbury pre-made break um apart and bake ones, but hey. Let us know if ya need any of it.

Come fill the coolers up @ the store!! Free Ice for all the Ladies in the House, wait sorry, just having a flash back! Let me know wat i can do! I would sell Coke items and for $1.oo not .50 but thats just me. I was a youth minister for 10 years and people will not mind .50 more! I have a couple jamba. cooks also so if yours falls thru, just let me know. But please dont pay for ice!!!! I have plenty

I am going to get with Glenda on doing some little games or what not just to make the day alittle bit funner. Maybe make it go by a little faster. I can use the 10X10 tent too. The coolers I am just going to be putting can drinks and bottle water in them. If you feel up to it baking cookies pull em parts are fine. I am just asking that you put them in saran wrap ot something like that. Two per package. I also have flyers for you to hand out and tickets to sell for the dinners. THanks.

Sorry I never called you back Crystal...between packing and the bronchitis, its been extremely crazy around here and my voice is still messed up But on the coolers and tent, I'll set them aside for ya. And the cookies are not a problem, just let me know when you want everything.
