New from Columbia SC
Hi there everyone. I'm Jason, the lucky owner of a 06 blacked out GT. I heard about this site from an old high school friend on Facebook, that is currently working on a SC chapter. A little about me, well up until January of this year I had worked in the local Children's Hospital in Hematology/Oncology with the best children and families I think I could ever meet. I volunteer with Camp Kemo, a local summer camp for pediatric cancer patients, and Lasting Impressions, a teen cancer support group. At the end of last year several wonderful children lost their battles with this horrible disease that I was very very close to. After some thought I decided it was time to leave after 7 years, and find a new career. I am currently back in school and looking at getting into real estate. Enough about me, now about the car. It's an 06 GT of course with 30,000 miles. I have installed a Roush hood scoop, and quarter window louvers, 18in DR-34 wheels black w/machined lip, Airaid intake, DiabloSport Tuner, CherryBomb exhaust, 8000K HID headlights and fog lights, PA performance 130 amp alternator, full aftermarket stereo, in dash navigation/dvd, Optima red top battery, stinger battery and 1 farad cap. I'm looking at doing headers, h-pipe, and camshafts in the very near future as well as a full Roush stage 3 suspension.

Re: New from Columbia SC
Welcome Jason, glad to see that you came on over to the site. You'll love this group of people and I'll need to come see you at Norton's Stereo soon. I'm in the middle of restoring mine back to what she used to be so stereo is down on the list right now. You've got my email address so just shoot me an email when you can so we can catch up man. It's awesome to see that you went on to work with special needs children. My daughter has Type 1 diabetes, which isn't nearly as bad as cancer, but still scary when they're diagnosed. We take her to Camp Adam Fisher every year and the group of people that put it together are truly special. Congrats on getting back into school and I can't wait to see your car in person.

Re: New from Columbia SC
So the car show at Bailey's Bar and grill has been changed to May 23rd. Sorry for the mix up but they are waffling around with the date due to it having been slated for Mother's day. Also there is going to be a show in Orangburg SC on Saturday May 8th, not sure of the venue but it should be pretty big. As soon as I know I will pass along the information.
