Aloha from Kailua, Hawaii!
I live in Kailua, HI. New to the club here. Was very fortunate to have gotten a MAF from Sxynerd that got my 96 GT project finally rolling. I'll be around here checking it all out and will post some stuff about my current Stang soon. Aloha all.

Re: Aloha from Kailua, Hawaii!
Thanks for the Welcome everyone. Below you'll find some pics and info about my 96 GT.
Okay, a little info about the car. I got it for $500 not running. Looked like they blew at least one of the head gaskets, but because the car sat for 8 months before I got it, everything was rusting in the motor. To the point of being partially frozen. Got a 97 motor for $1200 and the journey began. The following pics show what was done from Aug to Nov when the car was finally back on the road. So far, I've got about $2500 total in the car.
This is the 97 motor.
The original motor.
New motor in the car.
After the motor swap.
Really thought I had more pics, but when you do all the work yourself, ya kinda for get about the camera. The body is okay, it was repainted in a high school auto shop before I got it. Original color was Silver. The kid I got it from had gotten it from his dad, who had gotten it from his dad, who is the original owner, who has always lived down the street from me, so we just pushed it to my house.
So far the mods have been a UPR o/r xpipe, Simco Silver series gauge kit, rewired fogs so they can be used without the head lights being on and sequential tails. Oh yeah, I live in Hawaii, so parts are costly when you add shipping. Things coming, OEM used Cobra head lights and looking into some springs, may go with the FRPP F springs, can get them at jobber rate since Honolulu Ford is a club sponsor for our club, Hawaii Performance Mustangs.
Aloha,
Larry

Welcome to Wildhorses, Larry! Can't say that I've ever seen that color on that year either, but I like! Looks like a nice investment for you so far.
