The reason why im doing stuff like that car. is cause i want the stang to stand out away from all the mustangs out there. And trying to have more clean body lines.. I know alot of people might not like what im doing to her.
But thats them.. in my eyes i like the look of her.

You would have some massive issues trying to work a set of tail lights like those into a Mustang... I can't even begin to fathom how much work would go into doing it and honestly, I just don't think it would look good.

I think you've got some great ideas brewing for it, and honestly I couldn't care less what anyone thinks about "rice" but the tail lights don't seem like a very good idea IMHO.

I was wondering what you meant by the "rice", I didn't realize D wanted to change the lights out like that. D, you should use a different era of Mustang tail light, still keeping the Ford DNA. Keep it recognizable to the 'stang bloodline.

I hear you all... as much as i would love to change the taillights . i dont think i will have the cash to go all out like that. im going to just end up getting some gto headlights and taillight covers dark black.. that should match vere well.. When i was looking at that pic and it just looks like a ton of work to do to even make it look good (in my eyes)

Those "covers" are cheap crap made for rednecks with mullets and third gens. Either tint them or have them painted.

A paint shop will charge you about $50 to tint them with paint.

I do not suggest the Spray tint because it's really hard to get a nice tint that's not to dark and well coated.

Mine are painted and I couldn't be happier. Just dark enough and I've never been pulled over.

Cool ill have to check it out.. see i want mine vere dark black.. thats why i was thinking getting the covers thay way i can take them off when ever i want..

The more I play with the 70 mustangs the more I like them.

First off, the 70 is just a bad ass car.

With that in mind, have fun with this fox, maybe a 70 twin scoop...or whatever floats your boat. Maybe fix that broken front cap while your at it
