Need name for part look up, help?
Last night a hose blew in my 3.8, hate this v6 always a temp problem. I cant remember what it was called AJ told me but forgot. I did a temp patch to limp it home but that just melted the tape, and burned up all my oil it was running so hot. anyways its located just behind the plug wire distributer thingy. (I'm spacing that name too). its a hose that is all one piece that goes from reg. hose to a metal hose back into a rubber hose. I could try to post a pic of it if thats what needs be. I'm so sick tho of everytime i get a car and put money into it and dont have anything to spare afterwards something worse goes wrong with the engine. Also it over heated to the point to where it was knockin really load. I believe it was just cuz it drank so much oil I put another quart into it and the knocking quieted down a lil bit but still noticable. Thankfully it didnt start doing that till i was seconds from my neighborhood but it did keep dieing and haveing trouble starting back up like it would turn but didnt wanna fire. that made me mad so i made it fire. this morning since it had lots of time to cool down it started up fine like it normally did but still same problems. just not as bad since it wasnt hot. I'm hopeing i didnt throw something and screwed up the engine. if i put more oil into it and replace this hose I'm hopeing it will go back to running normal. Idk I'll get a pic up of it here in a minute so everyone know's what i'm talkin about. but if you might have an idea of what I mean and got some info for me let me know. I wish my buddy would hurry up and stop jerkin me around and give me that 302 for it. would be so much easier. Thanks guy's!
