mustang vs deer

well sadly i hit a deer saturday around 3am............it was a button buck and it smashed in my right front corner panel, took off my side louver and smashed the rear quarter panel and scuffed up my rim...........ill be havin some pics when i wake up in a couple of hours lol .................................................very upset

I know exactly how you feel. I just posted the same experience on the TN board. I think we will have to start a club of our own. Good luck with your repairs.

Some of you guys know about the deer that hit me. I feel your pain.

I had a deer hit me when I had my GSX, I wanted to cry.

i had a Talon and hit a deer on the way to work. then about 2 months later i had a turbo eclipse... hit another deer in the same spot............. that car is gone too.

i had a Camary and hit a racoon.. i used state farm insurance back then and tryed to have em fix it for 3 months! and it needed about 100 dollers of paint and touch up. how cheap is that. needless to say they lost thousands of dollers when i switched companys and they could have spent hundreds to keep me happy.. sorry about your car bro. hope you can get all this worked out and get her rollen agian, asap!!

Oh man Gears thats a bummer. I know how that goes. You weren't kiddin bout the damage. I'll hit you up soon. Dan they were not all at once but all were pretty close. I had my car out of the shop and had just cleaned it up and everything and then crushed my front bumper and nose of my hood.

Holy crap dude, that stinks. That's a lot worse than mine was. Are you going to have to pay a deductible?

yea ill have to pay the deductable just be careful guys, they are everywhere..........almost hit 6 just last night in the crown vic

I think there is a easier way to hunt. And it's a lot cheaper too!

That stinks! Did you hit it with the 'stang? I just dodged 4 deer this morning in 2 different spots, three of them ran out and stopped right at the roads edge as I did a swerve and rev to avoid. The only thing that scares them damn things is pushing in the clutch and revving the motor.

Well, it is a pleasant bi-product, you can never get sick of that sound.
Missed 2 more deer tonight though, I'm getting sick of them things!

yeah for the last 2 weeks i had about 12 different bucks run across.

reading all these posts makes me feel sick! i love michigan but dang we need a year around hunting season! and yes dan... it was in the stang.

I found if you flash the hi beams a couple of times at them it seems to spook them into getting out of the way. It may not be as impressive as reving the engine and hearing the exhaust tone thou.

well hitting em with the car is not a cheaper way of hunting by any means but it is usually very effective with the one hit , one kill method lol
and the bucks are always out on the roads when you dont want em to but never in the fields when your hunting, good thing you havent hit any blitz i have avoided like 8 bucks myself

Had a doe run out between me and a semi on M-50 as I was on the way home today. Then later, on M-99, I stopped to help someone who had just hit an 8 pointer. The state really needs to look into longer hunting seasons, allowing more kills, or anything to thin this herd out. I don't remember seeing it quite this bad.
