Tuning my computer Empty Tuning my computer

I need a new tune in my computer, I am getting too much spark knock when accelerating, and the CEL is on because of the "H" pipe.
It's a '97 GT motor and I would like to get it taken care of before I park the car for the winter.
I am in the Flint area if that makes a difference.

And mine went boom, less than 3k miles later. But of course I can't prove it was him, except my car was at 21* of timing on a stock bottom end.

Do you have a handheld tuner? if you do you can get a e-mail tune from alot of places. Not sure if Pauls does Mail in tunes or not.
This is the place SCT told me to get ahold of. They have been working there butt off to get my car right

I do not have a hand held tuner, but would consider buying one if I thought I could tune it without blowing up my motor.

The simple Hand helds like SCT or Diablo it is pretty hard to blow up you car with the tunes they have loaded. The Company I linked you can get ahold of them tell them what you have done to your car and they will build a conservative tune for you. If you have a lap top you do some data logging and send them the file they look at it and make adjustments and send you a new file. I have sent 6 different data logs to them and they keep fine tuning it.
Ideally your best bet is to get it Dyno tuned but for me this seems to be working out just fine

every thing that tim said about his link is the same for paul. so just look them both up and decide. it is really nice to have a tuner. i liked using Paul to go to for this, they are always really nice their. and i know that he knows his stuff and has been in milan for events and had shop cars in pics in MM&FF. but both places will probubly be about the same. PEACE

Is there a model of the SCT tuner I should use with my blower and other add-ons?

either shop will let you know what you need. i know paul's shop has made boosted cars running 700+ rwhp so whatever the shop says.

After looking at the Diablo website they make nothing to tune a '97, unless I missed it.
SCT does make a tuner for my car, I'm looking closely at the SCT X3, model 3000....model 3015 would not work with a '97.
