The wagon has a large enough crack in it, that we are considering a dash cover.

Have you had or known anyone to have experience with any of the following:

http://www.dashtop.com/
I like what these guys have, but I am having trouble getting much info off their website (under Support, Installation, Documentation, etc do not work). Thus I am not sure they are even still in business. I have sent an email.

CoverKing
http://www.coverking.com/
Looking at the Velour. However, not thrilled about the zigzag stiching. Ever seen one?

Dash-topper
http://www.dashtopper.com/shop.net/home.aspx
Looks good too, but they use a blind stitch that has it's drawbacks.

Any input about these three or any other brand (CoverKing and Dash-topper are sold by many).

I really prefer the dashtop (at the top of the post), but I am worried about their viability.

Thanks guys!

Sorry, never had to use dash covers before. Can't give much input there, although it looks like the coverking is a good product.

I've bought several custom dash covers over the years and all of them have the same problem, fading and shedding. The UV light is what causes it so your best best is to have the front window tinted. It doesn't have to be dark. Even the clearest tint cuts the UV by 80% and the darker you get the less radiant heat is created.

The new glass that's in vehicles now days actually include a UV filter layer that helps a lot which is why you don't really see the faded interiors much anymore. (Think red Fox body interiors)

This is where I order my dash and car covers....

California Car Cover is one of the best companies out there. They are the ones that make the original waterblade and car duster. (They also throw a pretty awesome car show every year.)
