Re: members rides pics
Loved the way your exhaust sounded. Nice looking Saleen in the pic with you. I have a 2.93 also that I was trying to get rid of for a 2.76 but I may just keep it and do a 4lb lower. You may want to check out that route. The lowers give some nice torque gains.

Re: members rides pics
yea guys avoid the 2.76 if all possible... i know there not the same as the kenne belle... but i had major belt slip with that small a pulley on the 2.2, mainly cause i was overspinning the blower, but either way....
definetely going with the 4lb lower gives you the additional PSI your looking for without compromising belt slip, with the added torque gain

Ya I have heard of people having belt slip especially with the 2.76 but usually throwing on some idlers pulleys helped that, especially a snub idler. Ya I think I'm just gonna keep the 2.93 and get a 4lb, will give me the same boost if not a little more than the 2.76 and a lot more torque.

Re: members rides pics
Jason did you buy the car with the mods already on it or did you install them yourself?

Re: members rides pics
i even had a snub idler on the setup and it still encountered belt slip... i think moreso it was just overspinning the blower being such a small supercharger in comparison to the new ones Kenne Bell sells (2.2 was replaced by the 2.6 and the 2.4 by the 2.8, etc)
especially the 2.8, the 3.5" pulley im running, so ive been told, is gonna have the blower a bit below its efficiency range. im considering a smaller pulley, but if i do that, i wont be telling anyone! NOTE:
anything i tell you guys about my mods, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep them on the downlow... dont need the entire city of Indianapolis knowing what exactly im running, which is why i wont be showing the car with the hood up much

Re: members rides pics
I think it's an SLP came with the car. The guy was like oh i have this stuff too. I got adjustable rear shocks the whole factory exhasut a pulley and the ideler from him.

Re: members rides pics
Does the slp pulley come with a hub? I was going to say you if you were planning on doing the pulley yourself we could rent a billetflow puller for $50+shipping and just split the cost and both use it. I have an LFP blower pulley but mine comes with the hub so I can interchange it.

Re: members rides pics
I'm sure you already know of it but if not you should check out svtperformance. They have had a few pulleys on there lately, most of them blue.

Re: members rides pics
I was think maybe a metco I've seen good things about there product on SVTperformance.com I also saw recently a moto blue pulley blow apart on there too.

Re: members rides pics
I wouldn't buy motoblue especially since it is RPM Outlets brand they carry. That place sucks at business. Ya originally I was looking for a billetflow but got my lfp upper and idler for $150, so can't really beat that.
