Milan Dragway June 13th
Hey everyone this is Eric's gf we are going to Milan Dragway on June 13th for their show, eric was going to race, but he talked to a official and they said if he ran faster than 12.5 they would black flag him. So we are not going to waste 35.00 on the racing part. Let us know if anyone plans on going.
Thanks Angela

You should race especially if it's your first time out this year. There's always a bug or 2 to get worked out and look at it this way it's fun. The only thing they will do is not let you make anymore passes the rest of the day. I'm speaking form experience before I updated everything, now my car is legal for 10.99 but all i'm shooting for this year is a mid 11. Good Luck! :^drunk^:

Re: Milan Dragway June 13th
I was going to race NMRA true street so it was only 3 passes to start with and my car is a conv. The car should run high 10"s low 11's so its not worth it. :*burnout*:

Re: Milan Dragway June 13th
I'm going on the 27th of june you should try and make it out then. Traction is key, no traction no good time slips but your mph will tell you were the car is at. Hopefully nothing breaks the first time out this year. Last year my last time out I snapped an axle on the line. I look at it like this if it breaks I get to make it better and stronger, YEAH!
I just buttoned up the cage in my car and it feels totally different but in a good way, it goes straight. No heavy steering involved on the launching like it used to be. Launching on my slicks may be a little different than the drag radials though they let go right around 4000 on a dead dig launch. We'll see what happens. :*drive*:

It sucks when stuff breaks but I do not have to worry this year. I have a forged and built motor,t56 trans, 31 spline stuff in the rear

Re: Milan Dragway June 13th
You can break any trans at any given day especially when you have traction. Bulletproof that's a term used to e light! I upgraded to 33 spline Strange axles, not to fond of Moser componets anymore due to a couple of issues. My trans is a Liberty shifted cryo crobra trans and I see it as the weak link. I have seen to many of my friends break Tremec's in the past. Best of luck though, nothing sucks more than breaking parts but like I mentioned there are always a couple of bugs to work out. If you think that stuff doesn't break then you are wrong. I broke a 31 spline Moser axle on the line last time I was at Milan. The T56 will only live as long as you let it. If you shift with :*drive*: out letting of the gas they give up in a hurry, you just have to learn how to finesse them. You can break any trans at ant given day especially when you have traction.

Not me sorry, I will be in Florida tomorrow.
I can't wait to get back and get back in the swing of things! But, for now I must finish packing. :^drunk^:

Re: Milan Dragway June 13th
It was def. worth going! Good racing and show it looked like rain but it held out and the sun came out for the semi-finals. Those Cobra Jet cars are really impressive. I'm still planning on going the 27th if anyone else is interested?
