Reminder of the Next WMC Event May 17

Just a reminder on sunday, May 17th, we will be heading up to Bowling Green for the NHRA event and it will be a WMC given we get enough Cars to go.

I will go and race the benz in fun but none of the mustangs will be ready. tires takes two weeks to order for the roush and the cobra will not be done until JUNE FIRST. Keira wants to race the ford torus so can she be apart of the racen thing now that she is 18?

i am not going to be there after all, i used the funds to go to union hill tuesday instead.

Oh come on!!! Seriously, the trip's not all that bad, you can't pass up running the 1/4 mile!

Beechbend drag classes
Gates open at 11:00. we'll be meeting at Ryan's at 9:00 and cruizing from there.
If you are from the nashville area and don't want to drive all the way to clarksville, we can meet you at the track, or you guys can get together and cruize up from that way

LONG DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We get there shortly after the gates open and wait 2 hrs to even make a qualifing run. Then it was another 1 1/2hrs before the next qualifing run.. Myself, TJ, Evan made it into the second rounds of Street Trophy, but all were knocked out. I know I was ready to leave with it only being 9:15pm and I only to got to make a total of 4 runs after getting there at 12:30 in the afternoon.

Long day, but totally worth it! What an awesome day, the weather was perfect in BG, sun was shining, low humidity.. Damn, I don't know about you guys, but I am sun burnt to hell and back!

I think most of us ended up running our best times ever.. I know I did!

Ran my best 60' 1.8 , My best 1/8th @ 8.659 and my best 1/4 13.595 even slammin' on the brakes @ the line which slowed my trap speed down from 99.96 to 91.93 LOL! :*bonk(:

I took a few quick shots with My camera phone, they're not all that great, but I'll share.
