August Event????

Ok everyone I was talking with William at Clarksville Speedway. William is wanting us to do another event like March Madness, but in the August timeframe. Looking at the calendar August 29th looks to be a good day for the event. Next thing is everyone willing to do another event, which could be bigger then March Madness due to weather. I already have 2 sponsors lined up for the event, if we decide to do this.

Also we would need a name for the event as well as event flyer.

Karen came up these so far:
August Ablaze (meaning burning, on fire)
August Absurdity (meaning against reason or common sense, ridiculous)

You already know that I'm willing to do this.

Definitely sounds like it could be a good time!

Eddie, let me know if you guys need any help with the flyers or anything like that. I have a lot of Photoshop experience and would be willing to help design that stuff, same goes for anything you guys might need for the website or the forum.

As far as the name of the Event goes, "August Ablaze" sounds ok, blaze = hot, fire, etc.. Does it necessarily have to be pertaining to "August?"

Not necessarily, just something catchy, that will get people attention. But if we could keep August that would help with the event being noticed for the month of August. Like the March Madness idea, but anything is open for suggestions.

I am going to the 8/15- Woodward Dream Cruise (Detroit), MI. I have heard this is really neat. I think more of us ahould go and being that it is the year of the 45 ford celibration, it should be evan better this year.

Sorry folks, things feel threw with the sponsors that was going to help setup the format. but next year they will be aboard for a late summer event..

well For the That last weekend is my brothers wedding so I cant be there but I can help pass out flyies and if some people need a place to stay I home can board a few people, for the weekend. I will have someone house sitting for me and the animals. Anyway let me know what you need. hugs and I hope all works out for everything.
