2010 Ford Mustang Starts Under $21,000

Ford has announced that the price of the new 2010 Mustang, due to hit dealership lots by the Mustang’s 45th birthday will start under $21,000.

The Mustang V6 coupe will start at $20,995 and $25,995 for V6 the convertible. The 4.6 liter V8 powered GT coupe base price is $27,995; the GT convertible starts at $32,995. This keeps the Mustang as the most affordable of the pony cars which include the Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger which cost between $1,000 and $2,600 more for their base models.

The Shelby GT500 Coupe came up significantly in price with an MSRP of $46,325, the GT500 Convertible starts at $51,225. This is pretty reasonable when you consider you are getting a mechanical twin to the 2009 GT-500KR which has an $80,000 price tag.
