new gt rims

well they are new to me at least. they were used and they are just stock gt rims but for $20 i could not pass them up. i think i am going to flat black them and see what happens.

flat black? why ..... this may be weird but i think those are my favorite wheels that came stock on the gt's

do u think they would look fine just set up on a dsg gt?? i have not put them on it yet so i was not sure what i wanted to do really. i just thought flat black because i wanted to really no real reason

idk man my buddy has a dsg mustang love the color but he has chrome bullets. im tryin to imagine his car with those. i know we use to have a 01 black gt with those on it and i liked it for a factory look any way it was all stock.

well i have anthricite bullets on it now and two v-6 rims (thanks again david) but i messed up two of the bullets bad and now i have these. i will probably throw them on before i decide to what to do sometime this spring.

If you want we can make a mini spray booth in my garage and shoot them using my air tools.

I have almost everything needed. All we need is the paint, scuff pads, plastic and tape for the areas we want to keep clean.

If you paint them, leave the lip polished. If it were me, I'd leave them like they are. Or black w/ clear coat. Flat black wheels just look like crap IMO.

Polished lip with the center painted black now that would be plain sick!

Why don't you just throw them on now and see what you think of them. Then if anything you can take a pic and photo shop it to see what everyone's recommendation would look like.

yeah that's a good idea. So are these to replace your bullits you beant? Or winter rims? What are you doing with the other two bullits?

whats wrong with starfish?

lol idk the black just looks very distinct when you paint just the inside... grey might be more subtle. idk

lol man i don't know i think i will try and learn photoshop or paint or whatever and try many different designs

I have personally seen those rims with the center of the spokes painted black up to the center and the running pony painted black. It really looked killer. Brian (WLDHORSE) of the MI chapter had it on his car if I remember right.
