:*run*: Going to vote after Sandy gets out of work. Waiting in line is a chance to talk with Sandy and people that I haven't seen since the last election.

I meant as far as electoral votes, which ultimately determine the end result.

Re: GOooooooooo VOTE!~)
It still wasn't a landslide or a sweeping victory. Normal just like every election we've had over the past 20 years.

I was comparing it to the previous two elections. This last election was something like 364 to 174 compared to the 2004 election which was 286 to 252 and the 200 election which was 271 to 267, so I would say that was a substantial difference. But ya in 1992 and 1996 the results were similar to this one.

Let's call it an "electoral landslide", not a popular vote landslide and leave it at that. Is anyone else up for locking these political threads so we can get back to "car" stuff again?SteviGX wrote:Sxynerd wrote:It still wasn't a landslide or a sweeping victory. It's the same reason the Liberals were mad about Bush's reelection. Electoral landslides are based numbers of electoral votes, obviously the bigger states get more votes and they own out this year. It's a matter of numbers. You all will see...The liberals are there to protect us because we're too dumb to protect ourselves. Get ready for the return of the "fairness Doctrine" and "executive order".
