Good muffler shops in C-ville? Empty Good muffler shops in C-ville?

Post by JH96GT Mon Nov 03, 2008 2:53 pm

Anyone know of any good muffler shops in Clarksville besides Queen City? Not knocking Queen at all, but called wanting a ballpark price on 3 chamber flows. Was told they only stocked two chambers, and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference... Rolling Eyes

Another other decent places around?

I'm tellin' ya, check out CherryBomb.com They've got an awesome muffler with their Vortex series, these have 30-40% better flow through than most brands not to mention they sound sweet. The new owners are really trying to get the word out there that they are not just making the glasspack, they've got a complete product line.

Interesting. I'd have to hear them in person because I want some sound, but no drone. My MAC is killing me.

Minimal drone on mine if any, CherryBomb really tried to address that issue with the Vortex. I gotta record 'em so you can hear them, but I broke my camera.

Same here. I love the sound of the straight pipes. It's not excessively loud but it definitely turns heads and has a good deep muscle car rumble. Big extra.....IT WAS CHEAP!!! :*woohoo*:

Good muffler shops in C-ville? Empty Caution on Queen City

Post by Guest Fri Nov 14, 2008 11:00 pm

Not trying to knock on Queen City but I joined this site just to share my info with you and plus I plan on joining the club soon when I heal.

I have a 97 Stang. I bought the Pypes x-pipe with high flow cats and had them install them. The person I wanted to use was busy and due to my work schedule had to settle for them. Anyways I had them install the exhaust. They moaned and groaned the whole time about it (not pleased about that)! After the install they started the car and it had a exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold on passenger side. First thing they said well we cant do anything about it. WTF I said to myself in my head! That was two trips I made to Queen City Muffler, the first and the last!

I like Nancy and the crew at Meineke Car Care Center.

1880 Fort Campbell Blvd
Clarksville, TN 37042
(931) 645-6287

I took my Dodge Ram there and never had to go back after their do it right the first time install. Installed dual exhaust at a company which no longer exists and my exhaust hangers would bust and let the exhaust hang. Meineke fixed it and is going on three years strong with no problems!

Also if you buy exhuast of the internet most places will install at a decent price! Much cheaper sometimes than a exhaust shop can supply much you want and install.

Hope this helps you some and good luck!

Thanks 97. I'm getting some 3 chamber flows and either Kraft St. or Meineke is doing it.

Appreciate the input guys.

Not sure about Riverside.....wait is it the one across from Cherrys or whatever the place is? If so he talked a good talk but was just to busy when I had to get it done. Just by-pass Queen City as I talked about it the past. Good luck on your exhaust! I will check in the morning to see whats new!

Not sure where Cherry's is, but it is on Warfield by the big body shop. Got to be there at 7:30 so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks.

Yeah forgot there is the original Riverside Muffler that is on Warfield. There is Riverside Auto on Riverside DR, thats who I was thinking about.

Never heard anything bad about Riverside Muffler. Hope all goes well with your install. What kind of exhaust are you getting with?

No luck. The MAC's will stay on for a while. The flows were too long and were gonna rub w/ the existing pipe setup.

No big deal.
