Magnaflow mufflers
Anyone know of any shops around Clarksville that carry these mufflers? It's time for the Capri to quieten down and I don't want to order the whole catback kit. I'm just gonna cut out the MAC's and install the Magnaflows using the existing piping.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Had them on the 05 and they were too quiet for me. Went with Pypes Violators. They have some quiter ones though and the price is right. They have sound clips on their site.

Really, did you buy the catback kit or just the mufflers?
Which ones are you talking about being quieter?
Thanks Paul.

Here ya go - http://www.pypesexhaust.com/mufflers.html
Mine were axle-backs and I opted for the Violators. The Street Pros are their quietest I believe.

Re: Magnaflow mufflers
Do you have a catted or offroad midpipe? Magnaflows are on the quiet side but when you get on the gas they sound good.

H-pipe, no cats.
Heard one not too long ago, and liked how quiet it was. I'm just not sure how it's gonna sound w/ my cam.

Re: Magnaflow mufflers
I would go with magnaflow. It is going to be mellow at idle but at wot it will sound real mean. Flowmasters sound good with an h-pipe but if you want something on the quiet side that won't give you a headache then go with the magnaflow.

Re: Magnaflow mufflers
This is an old thread so I don't know if you've bought new mufflers yet. I replaced the Flowmaster 40s with Magnaflow mufflers. They are quieter than the Flowmaster 40 but I wouldn't say they are too quiet. I still have to turn the radio up to half volume to hear it.
