**** Rules for Classifieds Usage ***** Please read.

Following are the new rules for the classifieds sales section. If you post an ad on or after 9/11/2008, please make sure they are followed. Threads or posts that do not will be modified and/or deleted. Thanks and enjoy the classifieds.



1. A City and State are required for all ads – You have two options: add your City and State in your profile or just put it in the add itself. Just make sure it is obvious and available. Complete zipcodes will work also.

2. Ad Titles & Terminology – Please be as descriptive as possible in the title of your ad. An example would be: For Sale – Edelbrock Performer Upper and Lower Intake for 5.0 / $300

3. Item Descriptions – Each item will have a good description in regards to price, condition (new/used), color, size, and payment methods. Please be descriptive when posting a part and add what type of vehicle it is from or what it fits. If at all possible, post a picture. Usually the first reply is “post pics”. Pictures are required for all vehicles for sale or trade along with make, model, mileage, etc…

4. Selling Items – 5 Non-Classified posts (Events forums, Off Topic Area, etc…) are required in order to post an ad to sell parts, cars, etc... This is to help protect members of this site from spammers or “here to sell” con artists. Do not spam to try to hop up your post count. All posts will be reviewed and threads found in violation will be deleted.

5. No thread hijacking. If a member has an item for sale, and you have the same type of item or something similar, please start your own thread.

6. No Dealers / Vendors (unless approved by the site).

7. Please finish your ads. If you post an item and it sells, please post “SOLD” or close the ad. If you have decided not to sell, please post “NO LONGER FOR SALE”.

8. EBay links can be posted if accompanied by a complete description typed out and a price in your ad here in this section. If you are an EBay dealer, refer to rule number 6

9. Must be a current active member to post in the Classified Section This it to protect Members from getting scammed by members that have fallen off the radar
