I would prefer 03-04 IRS but any will do. Stock or not, it doesn't matter.

Wheel hop can be fixed. Don't believe all the crap on the internet about Bad Cobra drivers swapping out there IRS.
FYI SRA wheel hop also. What do you think Quad shocks are for

What are you looking to spend?

Anything under a grand is a good price for an low mileage 03-04 IRS. 6-700 for a 99-02. I just found an 04 with 21k for 900 in Ohio, I'll be taking a trip down in 2 weeks to it pick up, hopefully :*woohoo*: . Keep looking for me everyone I've already had 2 deals go sour on me so far. :*gripe*:

I'll give you the S/C if you give me your 4v. lol Then we'd both stuck again in similar spots. I just woke up from dreaming about how bad I want a cobra. Listen to my problem.... it would be too much to just go buy one so I figured I'll just turn mine into one. Problem is, I wont put the cobra body pieces on until I have a 4v in it but I'm already maxed out on a stock short block 2v so I know I'd be over the top with a 4v so it would be pointless for me to put in a 4v unless I can afford to forge it first! See my mind numbing dilemma?? I'm in a Catch 22.

Well.... this plan just took a dump... I found the IRS agreed to buy it and was just waiting to get some time to go pick it up, then...







...I blew the engine. SON OF A BISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only did a leak down on 3 & 4 and on 3 heard the air coming from the Oil fill, lol and on 4, I heard it come from the intake pipe and the exhaust!

So now the question is.... Build this up and spend 7 grand that I don't have or put in the cobra motor I've wanted for a while still only making the same numbers than I'm making now. Also I've already called around trying to find a terminator motor and II can't find anything right now for less than 13k with a KB, and they wont separate. The average price I have seen them for in the past is 7-8grand.

Someone use some logic on me and set me straight.

That sucks man. Either way you go would be pretty cool. I would just build up the 2v since you already have an aftermarket blower. After the rebuild you can crank the boost up and make more than if you installed an otherwise stock cobra motor.
