I want to do this so bad. But 10-hr drive
I'll wait to see if any one else from MI or IN are going to decide on this one

I have been down the dragon twice, once on a motorcycle. I still have the t-shirt, something like 311 turns in 11 miles or something like that. It is an increadible drive.

In Michigan there are only two roads that compare. One is M-119 north out of Petosky towards Mackinaw City. The other is M-26 between Eagle River and Copper Harbor. I have been down M-119 several times and though pretty good, it is usually too filled with motorhomes and many of the turns are too sharp to get any decent speed up. Plus the speed limit is like 35 IIRC.

We just got back from a 2 week vacation, 1 week in the UP near Ontonagon. M-26, up on the Keweenaw pennisula is better than M-119. Its much faster, but with quick lefts and rights and very little traffic. We vacation on our motorcycle and it was a blast. :*woohoo*:

I would love to go but not this year Sandy and I will have to say no this year and play at home.
