Ladies and Gentlemen! Greetings from your sometimes silent Vice President, but always loyal supporter and cares about everyone that has graciously joined The South Carolina Wildhorses Mustang Club! It has been very exciting to see this club grow as much as it has in just a few short years. This club was established on good merits to be a common gathering for Ford Performance enthusiast. We have prided ourselves on being a pillar to our community through service projects and maintaining a positive image. However lately, with great dismay, I have seen some members represent our club in manners that don't share the principles of which this club was founded. In some cases, I've seen where some members are disrespectful to other members. Finally, with regret, I have seen some members use Facebook and the Wildhorses forum to speak poorly of Mustangs, Ford, and their many subsidies. We are here to share the spirit of enthusiasm for our cars. In saying that, we are also here to be supportive of other groups and their ventures. While we strive to conduct ourselves in a manner, which other clubs can model themselves after, we are not here to present ourselves as better than anyone. Any member that is consider to carry themselves in a manner as discussed before can and will be asked to leave The Wildhorses. Being that you are a member of this organization, use our forums to share opinions or make statements, you are a direct representative of this club at all times and are asked to conduct yourself in the appropriate manner. This posting is to serve as a message that we need to bring our unity back together on some levels. Anyone who chooses to reply negatively about this post is free to do so, but some actions may be taken. Thank you to everyone who reads this and understands where it is coming from. We have several loyal members who share the true spirit of this club always and I'm always glad to see you! I look forward to the future successes of this club and the sharing it with the members who care to see it happen. Thank you!

I have read your post and don't understand, because I haven't seen what you
are talking about. I'm not a member of facebook, so I don't know whats
posted on there, but on here, I haven't seen anything real negative especially
about mustangs or fords. I'm not posting to make anybody mad, but I would
like to know whats going because since this posting there has not been much
activity on this web site. Please send me a pm if you don't want to respond
on here. Thanks

The post was generated as a result of postings on Facebook. People inappropriately posting their discontent on subjects that they themselves were not handling appropriately. In regards to activity here on the forum being slow, I believe that is just due to the time of year in which people may be out spending time with family, on vacation, etc.

I apoligize for not being clear before. We have some members that we know only use he forum and perhaps don't use facebook. I posted the same message on both boards, so that all members could see what was being said. No worries about activity among members. We had a great time together the other day cruising into Sonic with a few new members as well. Overall attitude is highly positive and enjoy the company of one another. Hope to see you out soon!
