straight pipes Empty straight pipes

hey guys i just wanted to get some opinions about putting straight pipes on my 03 GT, i ended up getting this one after my silver baby decide she didint want to play to much longer and the timing chain guides started to let go and the chain was rapping off the valve cover, so i went and traded her for this one it a 03 GT bone stock with 70k on the clock, i cant take how quiet the stock exhaust is and started thinking about cutting the mufflers out and straight pipeing it, i am not looking for any HP gain just a good deep growl out of it, so what do think worth doing???? banghead
