My whine for the day...

So I am sick and tired of seeing all this cool stuff for the newer body styles so I think I've officially lost my mind cuz we are thinking of fabricating 2010 tails and headlights into my car was wondering what ur guys's thoughts are??

would be different but lots of money to redo the front and rear quarter panels and paint.. not to mention fab labor

I'm not really worried about that I have a very close friend that has his own shop and is awesome at customizing that said he would help me out its just all our headlights and tails either look ricer or stock and I'm sick of being like everyone else!! Lol

It would only be cool if a really nice job was done, it has to look factory without sticking out like a sore thumb. Hard for people to pull off, usually just looks cobbled unless your friend is Chip Foose.

Thats because changing headlights and taillights (along with body kits) is typically the rice thing to do... no sense putting performance parts on a turd.... My car came with aftermarket headlights and taillights and as soon as i get the money they will be gone.

I'm good with my car performannve wise already have the venom chip and magnaflow heads with 4:10 gears and love the way my new tranny snaps you back in the seat don't want to go overboard if I want to go fast ill just borrow the 427r or the 429 just use to having vehicles that turn heads and win trophies my garage isn't filled yet so I can't stop!! Lol plus I love the old school look of the new tails and headlights thought about goin real old school and fabbin in some 67s

Thanks guys for pics have been working on an actual rendering of what it would look like just trying to tweak it and trying to figure out if I want the new spilt headlights or the singles! Will post the renderings when I get done to get your guys opinion! Not even for sure if I want to do this yet or just trade mine in on a new one especially after driving the new body style its hard not to fall in love with! Either way jeff it is so on!!!

Looking at a 2010 yellow 5.0 think that's what I'm going to go with if I can get it at the right price if I get it tho I have to buy a beater to drive everyday cause it would be like the charger would onlycome out on special occasions. He is good Dan super busy like always running around like crazy!! Can hardley keep track of him!!LOL

um 2010 is still the 3V 4.6L, 5.0 wasn't till 2011

Personally I hate the look of all the 2005-2012's... but that's me... I looovveee the sharp lines on our 99-04's.

I just like how the interrior is designed there just seems to be so much more room in them I cannot sit comfortably with an adult in the front seat of my car if I sit in the back and in the 2010 I'm totally comfortable dj is getting tall enough his knees are hitting the back of my seat when I drive and its getting cramped even the trunk has more room! I personally love the new body style and especially all the cool stuff they have for bolt ons!!

Actually, much rather have my 2v then a 3v.... but I'd also rather have a new 5.0 lol

2v motor even with PI heads is only like 260HP and 3v is 315HP... think i'd take the extra 55HP

I think my 3V has just enough power for me. After all you can't legally drive faster than the speed limit.
