Somerset KY Cruise in

TheTN chapters will be going to somerset Ky on the 27th of aug. instead of doing our annual cookout we will be rescheduling the cook out for a later date.
I will be posting up more details as soon as i get them, they are also on the nashville chapter facebook page and will be on clarksville page soon. lets get a good turn out for this one everyone, i will also be holding a meeting in clarksville for those members who are not attending somerset..

Saturday, August 27th:
Saturday Morning Fun Run 8:00AM:
Meet at Hardee's South, stoplight #22 on south US 27! Fun Run participants will receive a FREE breakfast before departing. We will depart at 9:00AM promptly for the August destination...Lake Cumberland Dragway for some crazy burnouts and hot side by side racing fun! Entry fee is only $10 per person to race or watch! Grudge race your buddies, test out your leadfoot and see what your hot rod can do! *All cars or trucks must be licensed and insured! No race cars, please!*
Cruise Entrance Gates Open in Downtown 1PM:
Somerset for the Show & Shine!!! It’s the Big Show!!! Blocks and blocks of show cars and trucks! Stroll thru the downtown area admiring all the chrome and horsepower, talk to car owners & enjoy the family oriented atmosphere!

Cruisin' The Strip all weekend!
It’s Saturday night so, it must be time to cruise! We know it's one of the main reasons you come to Somernites Cruise so, get your car out on “the strip” and cruise! Thousands of spectators waving and cheering from street side!
Tune your radio to 97.1FM for great tunes and cruise the night away! We want to see you cruising your car or truck! It's a blast! Please cruise in the outside lanes, be courteous and obey all posted traffic laws. We want to see you again next month!

We really wanna roll into Somerset as deep as possible. So if you could cruise with us that would be awesome! They have a VIP entrance for Mustangs, and for clubs that come into Somerset together they will park together.

Its about 2-2 1/2 hours from Nashville. From what I hear is the Cruise in Capitol. its gonna be a blast and I'm told its not a bad drive

sounds very tempting, but everytime i shine up my ride i get rained on. i may bring u guys and gals bad luck lol. I looked at their site and all i could say was wow. if i have to extra cash to blow ill fo sho go.

it is a 3 hr drive from clarksville we are working on meeting up in bowling green and then cruising in together from there

well like i tried to talk some of my other 500 owner buddies into going but it looks like everyones got stuff to do tha day. so Ill try and make it but cash is getting a bit tight.

we understand that it is very tight for all of us these days we will be doing something together that night with the members who are not going to somerset. we are meeting at ryans at 5pm and i am looking for something for the club to do together that is free or as close to free as i can my plan so far is to meet at ryans then go in and eat as a group and then head out from there. as soon as i find a few things that we can all do i will post them up and we can all decide what to do

I made it out there again this year, ran into one of the Nashville members and talked with him for a while. I heard them say there was over 560 Mustangs!

My dad and I (he has a blue 66) were stuck in the corner but there were Mustangs everywhere! Here is a link to some pics. Our cars are in the bottom right picture in the first block of 12 pics on page 3.
