Is anyone interested?

I've been in touch with someone about custom grill emblems for our club members and just thought that I would see if anyone is interested as they will be expensive. The guy that makes these says that the first one is $340 and all others will be $110. I know they're expensive and I wasn't going to post this but I thought that maybe a few would be interested so here they are.



The first one cost more because of the fabrication cost so if there are quite a few people we will figure out the total cost and split it between everyone and all pay the same amount. No hard feelings if no one wants one just thought that I would throw it out there. These are chrome and high quality products with the bracket. The dimensions are 2.48" x 2.83" and will be in the same location as the stock mustang emblem. These are for 94-04 models right now. If there is a high demand for them I can work on getting them for the S197 models but I'm pretty sure the price is going to be an issue. Let me know.

I spoke with Thomas about making the emblems without the bracket and what the price would be. Here is the response:

Here is a breakdown for you of my costs for the emblems without the bracket.


The plating of each one is $15.00
The casting is $15.00 each


I need $25.00 for each one to offset the cost of making of the master, removing the flash from the castings, getting the 2-way tape laser cut and applying the vinyl plus the costs of the tape and vinyl.


The price for one horse emblem at a minimum order of 12 is $55.00 Canadian.

I've been involved with three group buys before and the last one worked the best. I dealt with one person that collected the down payments and sent them to me in one lump sum and then I sent all the finished emblems to him and he sent them out to the individual buyers and I think he added a small markup for himself. Postage is a lot cheaper within the USA so it didn't make any sense to ship them individually from Canada.


Postage foe all the emblems is $35.00 for express post plus $1.35 per $100.00 insurance, I usually insure for about 1/2 the total value. Expedited post is slower and costs about $25.00 plus insurance.

I thought that they would look good in place of the fender emblems or as an addition to the rear somewhere. The garage would also be cool!

Oh for some reason I thought they where to replace the running pony in the grill.
The trunk might actually look cool. But it is going to be hard to get people to spend that amount of cash on a decal. But it is still pretty cool

Yeah the $110 ones are for the grill, the cheaper ones are for anywhere else as they don't come with the bracket to replace the grill emblem. Either way they're really expensive and probably wont happen but I may break down and get one for myself. We'll see.

I like it but i like the one iv got better.I replaced my gt emblems with crome blackwidows but i have to leave my horse

they look sweet but i just spent alot of time and money getting rid of all my emblems................................and locks and antenna and third brake light.....ect...ect.but i ramble.lol
