speedometer disconnected

the previous owner disconnected the speedometer and I want to hook it back up but dont know where its disconnected. any suggestions? Ive already put in a new speed sensor so its not that. 97 mustang gt

do you have a hand held tuner and does it show vehicle speed in the tuner???
