MUSTANG SHOW DOWNTOWN LANSING SUNDAY 8-29-10

Capital Area Mustangs (CAM) club is holding a really nice all ford car show in downtown Lansing. They will be setting up on Grand ave. near LCC. The rules say ford powered ford bodys only. I heard a few years ago someone came in with a 56 ford but it had a cadillac engine and they told him he couldn't stay.
Show is from 8am to 3pm supposed to be a lot of Mustangs present. I will not be there but thought I would pass the info along.

12.00 per vehicle registration fee. Benifits Child and family services capital area. Just passing along the info for anyone who may want to attend!

ok so the show was great i would like to say thank you to cam for a great show for a great cause.on anouther note have to say thanks to painterdude for all his hard work as i won best paint for the show as well as third place in my class wich was the largest class there 94-04 all makes like terminators and bullets cobra,gt,v6s james made a great attempt at the muffler rap but was beat by a race car.so all in all it was a great time with great friends once again.

That's great, congrats! Wish I didn't have to go back to work (vaca had to end sometime), but I'm glad you all had a good time.

Had fun at the car show, man was it hot.
Too bad there wasn't more competition for the V6 muffler rap.
I know there are some guys in the club with good sounding V6s.

thanks guys i know it will be hard to do with this show and 28th street the day before but i belive we should try and make this a club event every year after all it is for the benifit of kids.and its realy nice to be with just ford gearheads for achange.also billy won his class.it was kinda strang to see 5 94-95 cobras altogether in a row.(ok 4 plus my fake one but whos tellin not me)sorry im not much of a picture taker so i dont have any pics.

They always have their show the day after 28th St, but there is nothing wrong with a back to back show in my book (as long as I'm not at work, lol).

Well, the Metro Cruise was the 6th annual this year, and the CAM event was the 12th annual this year, so...

good point cams show is close enough for me that i will be there from now on.
