Was at a car show this weekend and the very first 67 GT500 just happened to be there. It was built 6 month before the 1st production GT500 was built it was used for Promo's/Testing and Mock up for parts.
Shelby donated it to the Ionia MI Correctional facility in the 60's where it was used in the body shop to train prisoners in body work and mechanics it was here until 1999 when it was basically stripped and put in a field.
