Brakes are easy as hell! It's like installing a CAI. You loosen a few bolts slide a few things back and tighten bolts.
Oh, did I mention that you will need to possibly bleed the brakes, and remove and replace the worn parts ie: pads and rotors....
AHAHAHHA

Unless you're talking about my CAI... I did my brakes in far less time than I spent on my pipe. I even did a runout check on the rotors... don't want to ruin $250 worth of new brake hardware.
Oh, and a C-clamp! Absolutely!

Re: uh-oh, this can't be good...
Now on a serious note:
Brakes really aren't as hard as most think. They are actually quite easy.
The C-clamp is used to compress the FRONT (only) rotors back so that the new pads fit over the rotor. The process is to use an old pad and the C-clamp together to push the caliber piston back to it's "beginning" or flush position.
The rear requires a special tool to spin the piston back into it's "beginning" or flush position. You can get away with using a pair of large pliers or lock jaw pliers to grab and spin the piston as well. You just need to be very very careful not to damage the rubber boots.
I have changed brakes on 2 Lightnings and 3 Mustangs. It takes time but you can accomplish this task with no problem.
WE HAVE FAITH!
