Hey all,
I have a 92 black Gt with full exhuast, gears, dr's, driveshaft and Im looking at putting on a turbine system. Have any of you had experience with one. My buddy with his dodge challenger, who lives on a farm, has a trubine and he said it spins up wicked fast as air passes in. We are thinking about doing a custom fab 96mm turbine.

do you mean turbo??? haha
and dude... 96mm is a BIG BIG turbo!!!!!!! Thats gonna have turbo lag like a mother f***er on a 5.0 engine.

Are you rebuilding your engine to handle that power?

This is what i suggest man... got to excessiveperformance.com. They are kinda near you.

Have them build you a 331 stroker out of your stock 5.0 block. Tell them what you want to run for forced induction...aka, a 96mm turbo. They'll build you're engine to handle that kinda power.

this is not a turbo system guys. This is a turbine system. It is setup like a turbo but the air drawn in through the inlet propels the turbine and forcing more air into the car. This is going to be an all out drag car. The faster you go the more air that is drawn in and the faster thje turbine spins. WSe are going to tune it for 104 octane

A turbocharger, or turbo, is an air compressor used for forced-induction of an internal combustion engine. Like a supercharger, the purpose of a turbocharger is to increase the mass of air entering the engine to create more power. However, a turbocharger differs in that the compressor is powered by a turbine driven by the engine's own exhaust gases.

I dont know of any Turbine System that the incomming air makes more boost unless you plan on putting a windmill under the hood :*bonk(: but seriously if there is a difference then please let me know
