Re: I NEED HELP THAT'S FOR SURE! LOL
Thats funny shortly after you guys left a guy showed up that was trying to sell some Pony rims. They are the rims that come on 96 to 98 Mustang GT stock. from the one he showed us they look like there in great shape
He wanted $125 and that included tires. his name was Mike # is 517-775-2846. just tell him we where at advance auto when he showed them to us

Re: I NEED HELP THAT'S FOR SURE! LOL
Tim, good call on getting that guys info. I had forgot that we could easy find someone interested here! Hey, Jessica, those wheels were in great shape and the tires had OK tread left on them too. I'm not too sure what is out there that can help your V6 sound anything like ours. It's just that the exhaust on the V8's sound so good with the after market stuff, but on the V6's it doesn't have the same effect. Does anyone out there have any ideas for Jessica here?

Re: I NEED HELP THAT'S FOR SURE! LOL
If it's a 96+ The only thing that's different is the placement of a the break lines and the wiring harness to the firewall and PCM. Just make sure you get an engine with the w/h.
Re: I NEED HELP THAT'S FOR SURE! LOL
it's a 1995 v6 plain jane that's it...lol I haven't done anything to it... it's all stock.

Re: I NEED HELP THAT'S FOR SURE! LOL
302 swap should be easy then. Same subframe, just pop in the 5oh and new harness. You may have to rebend or make new ABS lines if they are in the way. A weekend job, for sure.

Re: I NEED HELP THAT'S FOR SURE! LOL
I would suggest if you just want the sound to do Flowmasters or cherrybombs,
I have the dual flow master exhaust on mine it sounds good but I think I am getting bigger pipes.
I have a friend that owns a muffler shop that can hook us up on a great price.

Re: I NEED HELP THAT'S FOR SURE! LOL
Brad can do a 5.0 swap he's done one on his own car and one on Zac's car... as for making the car sound good get and offroad H pipe and run dual flowmasters out the back sounds pretty good. Jabben (James) did this to his car and it sounded really good, a lot of people thought he had a V-8. Do some checking but i've heard a 5.0 offroad H pipe will bolt right up to the stock headers on the 3.8.... Oh and by the way i believe the 3.8 came stock with Headers already not manifolds

Re: I NEED HELP THAT'S FOR SURE! LOL
yes i can do the swap there are afew more parts needed than the motor and harnes but the swap is very straight forward.in fact i hope my 4.2 swap in the vert is as easy.just incase this is not a type o it is staying a v-6 4.2 out of a 02 f-150.

That'll be a nice swap. What year car is it going into? The 4.2's are torquey.

Re: I NEED HELP THAT'S FOR SURE! LOL
if you do swap engines (go from v6 to v8, which is kind of expensive) be aware it can screw up your speedometer. Ask Zack!!
