Hey gang, just installed my new Shaftmaster aluminum driveshaft this month. It's the 4" version. I didn't want to spend the extra cash on the 3". Anyway, I was a little surprised that it only shaved 10 pounds off the weight of my stock driveshaft. The Ford driveshaft for the 2005 V6 only weighed 29 pounds. Still, a 1/3 drop in weight wasn't too bad. And the new shaft totally eliminated the drive train shimmy I felt when decelerating from freeway speeds. Other than possibly upgrading my seats in the future I think my car mods have come to their end. My car feels very well balanced and is enjoyable to drive. All my current mods are playing well with each other.

Hey Turner,
Email Dave at shaftmasters (david@shaftmasters.com). He was my contact over there. He might be able to get you a price on one. Shaftmasters is a Michigan based company.
