Last Test'N'Tune

We are going back to the track one last time this year. Stantons last test'n'tune for the season is on the 24th at 12-4pm. Just thought I would post this just in case anyone wants to make one more trip to the track this year.

Thats just up the road from me. I may come up to hang out, But I wont put my car on the track. I am still having a few problems with it.

What type of problems are ya having?

Have to see if I can get out of work and put the drag tires on one last time.

I keep getting a check engine light. I can scan it and I don't get any codes. Autozone's scanner dosen't get any codes either. And it wont clear unless I disconnect the battery. But when I do that, it goes into "engine failsafe mode" and runs like crap until I shut it off and start it back up. Then the light comes back on again.

Are you going to the cruise on Sunday? If so I have a pretty good scanner that might be able to read your codes

Yes, I am planning on going. That would be great. Thanks Tim. Then maybe my head will stop hurting from pounding it against the wall trying to figure this one out.

I'm going to try and make this, want to see what it runs before some more mods this winter. LMK if meeting anywhere, or just meeting at the track.

Its been a while since I went to Stanton, wouldnt mind meeting somewhere? If you live in Lansing, I could meet somewhere up there, I live in Eaton Rapids, so its on my way.

By the way, we do live in Lansing. My brother'n'law might be comming too. Not sure what car he might be driving though.

just checked the forcast, good chance of rain......... weatherman - best job forcast rain all the time, when your wrong - nobody cares...

We are still planing on goin if any one is still interested.

Jeff just called me from up in Stanton and wanted me to post that the race track is closed today because the track is too wet and it looks like it's gonna rain some more this afternoon. They will open back up next year. So, if you were planning on going up there today, don't waste your time and gas!

Wow, it was sunny and upper 60's in Jackson Sunday. Would have never guessed that it was that nasty up there!

I'm planning on going to Milan today, their last test-n-tune day Wed, gates open at 4pm. the only bad thing is strong winds today. which will probably end up being a head-wind at Milan.

not what I was expecting. with the whipple it should be trapping somewhere in the 120's. so next spring its going in for a tune.

A group of us are meeting at Lapeer Dragway on November 6 - if you've never been there it is best described as a "rustic setting". But we get together on the first Saturday every year (this is our fifth time getting together) and always run some good times that day.
